Debuting this year, Danish-Icelandic Olafur Eliasson's Cirkelbroen bridges over the Christianshavn through it circumference. It is a gift from the Nordea Foundation to the city of Copenhagen. I remember seeing this back when I was still in architecture school so I'm quite glad that it pushed through. It opened 21 days ago but I managed to miss it in my last trip. I am hoping to see it in action in my next visit. The thing about these bridges is that they usually don't let it perform interactively as seen in the video due to safety and budget concerns (such as The Rolling Bridge in London) but I am hoping this would not be the case with this installation.
